CELEBRATION RIDE FOR RUSSELL

By Carolyn Goodman and Bruce Wexler

September 17, 2008

On Sunday, October 19th at 7:30 am, in conjunction with Frazier Cycling’s “Flowery Branch 50”, we will be riding in support of our friend Russell Tindol.  We are honoring Russell, who is far down his path of battling childhood cancer.

We would like to invite all of our riding friends to join us on this 50 or 28 mile ride to celebrate Russell’s great progress.  The Celebration Ride / Flowery Branch 50 will begin and end at the Berkshire Subdivision Clubhouse located on Jakin Way, Suwanee, GA 30024. Turn into the sub-division on Jakin and take the first left. The clubhouse and parking are on the left.

Those opting for the 28 mile ride will stop at Flowery Branch High School and be driven back to the Clubhouse.  Feel free to invite other qualified riders (able to ride in a group on the road).  All riders will be led by a Frazier Cycling Ride Leader.

Following the ride, a small celebration brunch will be served at the Clubhouse.

Along with the Rally Foundation, which raises money for childhood cancer research, we have been soliciting contributions for this great cause. Please visit Russell’s website at www.active.com/donate/rallyathletes/tindol  to learn more about his story and donate as able.

If you are going to participate or have questions, please respond via email to Carolyn Goodman at carolyn_goodman@bellsouth.net  Indicate if you plan on riding 28 or 50 miles so we can ensure adequate support.

Thanks,

Bruce Wexler
