On April 24th, 2010, Frazier Cycling Juniors pedaled to the podium in the rainy Athens Twilight Criterium.  The most exciting race of the day was the photo-finish in the Men's 10-14 Juniors race.  Fletcher Lydick and James Todd placed 4th  and 5th  in this bunch sprint to the line!   They were followed closely by teammates Miguel Gonzalez, Alex Wexler, and Rishi Mocherla.  Under extremely  wet conditions, Frazier Men's 15-18  Juniors teammates Andrew Hodges, Russell Tindol, Sam Tomaka, JJ Cucaz, and Ben Rothschild worked together to stay with the pack of thirty riders.   These same FC riders had competed earlier in the day in the Men's Cat 4.

In Men's Cat 3, a massive field sprint at the end of the 17.8-mile race.  Frazier Cycling Juniors managed to have two in the top 25 qualifying positions : Andrew Macrae 24th (41:51.1) and Philip O’Donnell 25th  (41:51.2).  Teammate David Goodman followed with 41:51.7.  Also in the field sprint were Nick Frazier and Ethan Zehr.

In the first race of the day, the Women's 3-4 Category,  FC riders Zoe Frazier won the field spring for 2nd place.   She was followed closely by teammates Stephanie Cucaz,  4th, and Abigail Aldridge, 5th.  The trio qualified for the Twilight Criterium finals.   Dominique Shore followed with a 18th place finish in the race.

A total of five Frazier Cycling Junior category riders qualified to ride in the evening Twilight Criterium!   This was the first time in all of our appearances that we have ever qualified anyone for the evening finals; however, due to deteriorating weather conditions, the coaches decided not to have the team race for the sake of safety.
