The Flowery Branch 50 Rides will start and finish at 1550 North Brown Road (Intersection of North Brown and Sever Road). 

Fee for guest cyclists is $15/week (guest Juniors is $30/week).

RIDING GROUP DEFINITIONS

A-TEAM

Frazier Cycling Members who have, at a minimum, achieved membership in the 24-mph Club.

Group B

Frazier Cycling Members who are consistently able to average at least 21 mph within group rides of 50 miles.

Group C

Frazier Cycling Members who are able to maintain 20 mph within group rides of 20 miles, but who are unable to average at least 21 mph within group rides of 50 miles.

FCP

Frazier Cycling Partners - This "riding group" designation includes the following groups: A-team, Group B, and Group C.   Note that FC Kids/Juniors and FC Kids/Juniors Racing Team are eligible for A-Team, Group B, and Group C Rides based on ability to meet the specified group criteria.*

NOVICE

Frazier Cycling Members and Partners who are unable to maintain 20 mph within group rides of 20 miles.

FC LADIES

This exclusive group is for FCP Women who compete in USAC and Triathlon Races. FC Ladies include all FCP Women: A-Team, Group B, Group C and Novice.

FC GENTLEMEN

This exclusive group is for FCP Novice Men who are interested in enhancing their fitness program with cycling.

*Individual Group Placement is solely at the discretion of the Frazier Cycling Coaching Staff.

WEEKDAY LUNCH RIDES

Weekday Lunch Rides begin at 11:40 AM @ 2651 Satellite Blvd., Duluth.

Tuesday
March thru November - 20 miles @ 25+ mph (no minimum), HANG OR BE DROPPED!
December thru February - 20 miles @ 20 - 22 mph, NO DROP RULE.

Wednesday
20 miles @ 20 - 22 mph, NO DROP RULE.

Thursday
March thru November - 20 miles @ minimum 25 mph, HANG ( >=25 mph) OR BE DROPPED (<25mph).

Friday
18 miles @ 18 - 21 mph, NO DROP RULE. Guests welcomed (no fee)!

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY EVENING RIDES

During the winter, early spring, and fall, evening rides begin at 4 PM in Suwanee. In the late spring and summer, evening rides are after 6 PM due to the heat.

Monday (PM):
Mid-March thru September

Hill Repeats: All Groups, 15 miles, Lead-out with sprint to hilltop.

October thru Mid-March

Recovery Ride (NO DROP RULE): All Groups, 8 - 12 miles.

Tuesday (PM):
mid-April thru early October

Office Park 21 (Laps) 

A-Team: 21 miles @ 24+ mph, HANG OR BE DROPPED*!

Group B: 21 miles @ 22 - 24 mph, HANG OR BE DROPPED.
Group C: 21 miles @ 20 - 22 mph, HANG OR BE DROPPED.

Group D: 21 miles @ 18 - 20 mph, HANG OR BE DROPPED.

 

Mid-October to mid-April

Office Park 21 (Laps) 

21 miles @ 20 - 22 mph, NO DROP RULE*.  

 

Riders should only participate in group that matches their capability.  Parents must be aware that juniors can be left by their group, so they can only participate if they are permitted to ride the course on their own.  For Laps, the groups are designated by speed shown on the ride schedule.  Riders should only participate if they are capable of matching the designated speed.  Parents should check with the coaches if they have questions about what rides their child should participate.

Mid-October to mid-April
Wednesday (PM):

April thru October

10km - 20 km @ 14-21 mph, NO DROP RULE. Beginners, Novices, A-Team, Group B, and Group C.


Thursday (PM):

Gary's 23-mile Ride

23 miles @ 20-24 mph,  NO DROP RULE.

WEEKEND RIDES

Generally, 50-mile rides are scheduled every weekend. Exceptions: Special Frazier Cycling Events, i.e. Spring Century, Helen Ride, Chattanooga Ride, Jack's Summer Century.

Sunday rides start earlier than Saturdays to give church-goers enough time to complete the distance.

Saturday:
50 miles @ maximum 22-24+ mph, HANG or DROP unless otherwise published in the Ride Schedule.

Sunday:
50 miles @ the group's maximum, generally 19-21 mph, NO DROP RULE.

Note to riders and parents:  Each ride has an estimated speed.  Please select the group ride that matches your capability.  Parents should check with the coaches if they have questions about what rides their child should participate.
